经过近半年的精心筹划，世界养殖水产品贸易大会即将于本月29日-31日在滨城青岛隆重召开。届时，联合国粮农组织助理总干事野村一郎先生、中华人民共和国农业部副部长范小建先生、全球渔业信息及贸易促进中心代表Mr Suba Subasinghe，将到会并致大会开幕辞。大会将围绕“可持续发展的世界水产品养殖业与全球化贸易”的主题展开五个议题的讨论和交流。
INFOYU（中国渔业贸易促进中心）是由联合国粮农组织（FAO）援建、农业部渔业局承建、中国水产学会承担、深圳市海洋与渔业服务中心承办的一个渔业市场信息与贸易促进网络系统，是全球渔业信息咨询和贸易促进服务体系 （FishInfoNetwork）的重要组成部分。 该系统是联合国粮农组织（FAO）全球渔业信息、技术服务和贸易促进网络（包括：INFOYU 中国、INFOFISH东南亚、INFOSAMAK 阿拉伯国家、INFOPESCA南美洲、INFOPECHE非洲、EASTFISH东欧、GLOBEFISH FAO总部）中的一员。

INFOYUis the Chinese member of the FishInfoNetwork with its base in Beijing and operating center in Shenzhen. INFOYU was established by the Government of China with assistance from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN in 1997. The FishInfoNetwork (FIN) consists of 7 independent intergovernmental and governmental organization those INFOPESCA (South and Central America), EUROFISH (Eastern and Central Europe), and INFOSA (Southern Africa), INFOSAMAK (Arab countries), EUROSFISH (Eastern and Central Europe), and INFOYU (China), plus the FAO based GLOBEFISH unit, situated in the Fisheries Department of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO). FISHINFONetwork supplies timely, accurate and unbiased information on international fish markets and fish trade to FAO member countries, governmental agencies, universities, research institutions, private company and individuals.
