    平台依托FIN网络，为业界政府、组织、企业、人士提供优质的信息以及贸易促进服务；提供及时的国内外水产动态、发展趋势、市场行情资讯；为中外企业寻觅商机提供平台；帮助国内企业开拓国际市场，促进水产品国际贸易。
     
    平台定时向联合国粮农组织及海外机构提供关于中国渔业报告和资讯，为国内外多家企业提供渔业咨询、调查服务。平台荣获2007年“中国农业网站最具创新奖”及2008年全国农业网站百强之“政府类五十强”称号。
